Explain parts of Speech الکلمتہ و اقسامھا with suitable examples

 In Arabic grammar, there are three main parts of speech:

  1. الاسم (Al-Ism) - Noun:

    • Definition: A word that refers to a person, place, thing, or idea.
    • Example: كتاب (kitab) - "book"
    • Example: مدينة (madiinah) - "city"
  2. الفعل (Al-Fi'l) - Verb:

    • Definition: A word that indicates an action, occurrence, or state of being.
    • Example: يقرأ (yaqra') - "to read"
    • Example: يكتب (yaktub) - "to write"
  3. الحرف (Al-Harf) - Particle:

    • Definition: A word that serves a grammatical function but doesn't fit into other categories.
    • Example: في (fi) - "in"
    • Example: لا (laa) - "not"

These three parts of speech form the basic building blocks of Arabic sentences and are essential for understanding and constructing meaningful expressions in the language.
